A Snowy Hike is Still Good.

'Tis the Season to be Spiny.

Not so festive, but appropriate for my mood.

Taken at the Cleveland Botanical Gardens in the "desert." It was so warm. Mmm.

I was trying to isolate a few spiny things, while still getting the idea of the whole cactus. I'm somewhat pleased with the way it turned out - looks a little like bull horns.

These flowers were delicate and growing on a log at the Cleveland Botanical Gardens.

It delighted me to see green and flowers during this insanely cold month.

I just loved the lighting in this - the dark, starry background, shadow from Mike's hand. I've always been enamored with globes and maps. A gigantic globe made me giddy with joy.
